I installed a TTF font to the system and I can use it on other places such as word processors but on Krita, it doesn\’t show up, even after I restarted the program. This is on elementary OS 5.0 (Ubuntu 19.04) what can be causing this?

Well, in the first place, Ubuntu 19.04 doesn’t exist yet, we’re in 19.01. There is no reason at all for Krita not to see a properly installed font, so you must have done something weird to your local system installation.

Sorry I meant to say 18.04 but couldn’t find a way to edit my question. On the text tool settings, this originally had no check in any entry. https://i.imgur.com/QpaSqYo.jpg Then I checked Latin, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. Now when I try to uncheck these to revert it to the default where it didn’t have any checks whatsoever, the setting won’t save. If I uncheck everything and click OK, the changes aren’t saved and when I open the Settings again, it’s back to the previously checked entries.

Ah, that does sound like a bug. Please report it to bugs.kde.org, and then we can try to fix it.
